The Correspondent
The school is managed by the Boston
Educational and Charitable Trust with Dr. R. N. Krishna Ph.d(Civil) formulating the main policies and principles as the Correspondent.
The Correspondent evinces an unwavering commitment to the fundamental
ethics of education. He spares no efforts in imparting
quality education and has a deep all pervasion and profound influence on
the students. His influential role in framing the
concepts and ideals that best promote quality literal education has
given new direction to the many programmers that the school adopts.
Discourses on the Vedas, yoga tradition and culture provide a strong statement of our national heritage and family values, lessons that are no part of a formal curriculum but are nevertheless capstones infostering better understanding and cooperation among patchwork of cultures that our student community comes from.
Able administrator, leader and innovator though he may be, Dr. R. N. Krishna never considers his task fully done. His is the unbreakable link between the two vital areas of learning and teaching. The faculty at the school is continually challenged and rewarded by students. Boston school finalists have gone on to assume leadership positions in all fields. Boston's entry into the 21st century is a testament to the strength, lumily and whole hearted dedication of the correspondent who made a dream happen.
The Principal
Boston School is ably headed by a
highly experienced, dignified and efficient principal, Mr.G. Rajendran, who has been serving this institution for more
than a decade. He is dedicated towards his work. Apart from his post
graduate in Chemistry & Education, he is a liaison between the management and the
staff, he convenes meetings very often to discuss various issues for
the smooth running of the school. He believes in meaningful work,
mutual respect, honest communication, continuous effort - these
stimulate the teachers to improve their competence. Principal is not
just a boss who gives orders but also, most importantly sets an example.
He has proved that success is the result of unrelenting labour. His
kindness is the golden chain by which the teachers and students are
bound together.
The Vice Principal
The Vice-Principal, Mrs. N. Mehtab Begum is an affable, highly resourceful
person who works in tandem with the Principal. She successfully and
suitably compliments the Principal in the curricular, co-curricular and
administration side. In fact, there is such a beautiful blend of skill
and efficiency of both that one hardly comes across lapses in the
administration. She certainly is one of the most reassuring staff
members. She deftly handles the various issues without letting go any of
the principles of the school. She is truly an admirable person.
The Faculty
"School is four walls with tomorrow in
it". We are witnessing a period of rapid and dramatic changes in school
education. The curriculum is continuously revived and revised by
educational experts. The faculty consists of around sixty teachers, each
one professionally qualified, experienced and with a strong dedication
to the vocation. The ends sought to be achieved are an ability to write,
communicate well, analyze, get wider perspectives and become future
leaders of our society.
The
means are rigorous class exercises, inculcation of communication and
other skills. Teachers have a tremendous responsibility towards the
society - to change, shape and mould students into responsible persons
with social values. The means and not just the ends are justified.
Individual differences are keenly observed, identified and remedied.
True learning takes place only when there is perfect support between the
teacher and the taught. This is achieved without much effort or
coercion.
With
sixty full time teachers
and a number of other staff like the Librarian, Craft teacher, music and
Drawing teachers and the Physical Director who serve as adjunct faculty,
Boston features both a wide variety of courses as well as extensive
faculty - student interaction. The teachers thoroughly enjoy engaging in
a learning experience with their students and take pleasure in the
accomplishments of the students.
