School Timings

The school functions from 08:40 to 15:25 hours (IST). There are totally eight periods in a, divided into the Forenoon and the Afternoon sessions, with a lunch break for 30 minutes. Both the morning and the afternoon sessions have a short recess for about 10 minutes.

The school works from Monday through Saturday. While focus is on curricular activities during weekdays, Saturdays are specially earmarked for extra-curricular activities.

Exams

There are three terminal exams held during an academic year (Quarterly, Half-yearly and Annual Exams). However, to enable the students to learn their day-to-day lessons, monthly and weekly tests and revision exams are conducted regularly. The portions for the tests are notified well in advance, anbling the students to prepare well. The promotion of a ward is judged by his performance throughout the year. Parents are given full freedom to scrutinize the answer papers of their children during the Parent-Teacher Meeting held regularly to have perfect rapport between the parent and the teachers.

Holidays

The school declares holidays after each terminal exam. The academic year is from June to April and after the Annual exams, summer holidays are declared for a period of 2 months.
